As plus-size people, a hotel/hostel/any regular towel is rarely enough to do the job and we are often tempted to bring our own, in spite of the space it can take in our luggage. ►►►

Though it goes a bit against my backpacker “instincts” to pack very flashy things to wear, in order to be able to mix and match all (or nearly all!) my items of clothing, this one comes as a complete surprise! (I also hate to be too visible while away to avoid drawing unwanted attention.) ►►►

Most of you don’t know my mother… As I’m getting older, I get to know her so well… mostly because I start to act and react like her so often! She’s a relatively “practical” packer and packing the car for a weekend away at the chalet or to move my stuff to Montreal for university was for her like a Tetris game… ►►►

Do I have to remind you how excited I was – as most plus-size women – that this collection was finally made available to Canadian ladies… yay!

Very recently, Old Navy Canada started selling their Women’s Plus collection to Canadian women. (Lucky for me, as I recently found out about their US Plus Size collection and was incredibly jealous… until I became really glad to hear the news, thanks to my friend and co-worker D.!) ►►►
